James L. Posze

Jay joined Rayonier in October 2010 as the Vice President of Human Resources and was appointed Senior Vice President of Human Resources in 2013. After the separation of Rayonier, he took on the role of Senior Vice President of Human Resources at Rayonier Advanced Materials (RYAM). In this capacity, Jay was responsible for all Human Resources activity.

In 2019, his role expanded to include the Chief Administrative Officer responsibilities, which consist of overseeing External Affairs, IT, Corporate Communications, and Administration, in addition to leading strategic HR initiatives such as talent management, labor relations, learning and development, compensation and benefits, organizational effectiveness, leadership alignment, health and welfare programs and HRIS.

Before his time at Rayonier, Jay held a position with Albemarle Corporation, a polymers and fine chemicals manufacturer, where he served as the Global Director of Human Resources for over eight years. Prior to that, Jay spent over 10 years with Koch Industries working in their corporate HR function as well as with the Flint Hills Refining division, spending time at both the Minnesota and Texas refining facilities.

Jay earned a BS in management from Western Kentucky University.
