At RYAM, we believe the best way to make a positive impact in our communities is to build strong, sustainable partnerships with families, businesses, neighbors and charitable organizations. Annually, our foundations in the United States and Canada make donations to local nonprofit organizations focused on improving public health, wellness, education and welfare.

Through The RYAM Foundation’s charitable gifts, we support local chapters of the United Way in Florida and Georgia, Habitat for Humanity Big Brothers Big Sisters, local educational programs, historic preservation initiatives, education, wellness and environmental preservation efforts.

Community Support

The RYAM Foundation holds annual fundraising initiatives to support the United Way in Northeast Florida and South Georgia and the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida to help our communities tackle their toughest challenges. Annually, the foundation also awards grants to nonprofit organizations seeking to build thriving local communities, drive innovation and accelerate equity.

Our foundation promotes opportunities in education through sustainable and responsible giving. By backing efforts like the YMCA Tiger Academy in Jacksonville, we empower students and families to excel, shaping a brighter future for all.

The RYAM Canadian Foundation

Our Canada-based foundation provides funding to registered charitable organizations or qualified recipients, as recognized by the Canada Revenue Agency.  Through our charitable gifts, The RYAM Canada Foundation focuses its donation efforts on:
  • Relief of Poverty – Nutritional support programs & affordable housing
  • Educational Support – Scholarships for students and grants to universities and research institutes
  • Strengthening Community – Supporting animal shelters, volunteer fire departments and cultural institutions
  • Environmental Conservation – Protecting caribou and other wildlife habitats

We’re active members of our communities, and we believe that it’s important to invest in and give back to the places that help support our business and where our employees live. Whether through acts of volunteer work by our employees, participating in local councils or donating to specific programs, we empower our employees to be active members of our communities.
