RYAM owns five strategically located fiber facilities in Barnesville, Collins, Eastman, Offerman and Quitman, Georgia. Our wood procurement team purchases the wood needed for our cellulose specialties plants from suppliers located throughout our markets to ensure the best quality and most competitive price. The facilities purchase logs from a wide variety of logging operations and timber companies. The logs are debarked and chipped into uniform dimensions.
The chipped wood is then delivered quickly via rail and trucks to our manufacturing facilities. The geographic diversity of our fiber facilities creates value by providing cost-effective fiber procurement for our plants.
