At RYAM, technology isn’t just a support function — it’s a catalyst for innovation and collaboration.
As IT Systems Administrator, Rémi Bourlon plays a key role in bringing this vision to life. Passionate about performance and continuous improvement, he recently earned a master’s degree in Infrastructure Management and Cybersecurity — an important milestone in his ongoing professional journey.
Turning Challenges into Opportunities
Always seeking to improve and innovate, Rémi thrives on transforming daily challenges into meaningful solutions. Recently, he deployed a new mobile device management system across RYAM France — securely configuring nearly 170 smartphones so employees can start working the moment they open the box.
“The out-of-box experience lets IT deliver a ready-to-use phone that’s fully compliant with our security policies — no manual setup required. It’s a real time-saver for everyone.”
Collaboration and Teamwork
Rémi engages with teams across all areas of RYAM, ensuring alignment and collaboration throughout the organization.
“Listening and communication are essential. Understanding what users really need is key to delivering effective, lasting solutions.”
He’s also a hands-on mentor, helping colleagues adopt new digital tools and driving RYAM’s broader digital transformation with equal parts pragmatism and enthusiasm.
Team Spirit — On and Off the Court
Outside of work, Rémi channels the same energy into basketball. With 28 years of experience as both player and coach, he sees strong parallels between the sport and his profession—teamwork, respect, commitment, and a drive to improve.
“Basketball taught me discipline and solidarity. At work, just like on the court, we move forward together.”
Always Moving Forward
Balancing family life, professional growth, and a passion for learning, Rémi embodies the RYAM spirit — curious, engaged, and always advancing. With his degree complete and new opportunities on the horizon, he’s focused on continuing to advance IT innovation at RYAM.
“What matters most is staying the course, embracing change, and delivering practical solutions.”
