In a remarkable demonstration of community, compassion, and determination, RYAM’s very own Whitney McGuire, Vice President & Assistant General Counsel, led an extraordinary campaign as a 2025 Woman of Impact nominee for the American Heart Association (AHA). Her journey—marked by dedication, team spirit, and a shared commitment to women’s heart health—captured the hearts of colleagues and supporters alike.
From the very start, Whitney’s campaign rallied the RYAM family behind a cause that affects millions. With the support of team members, a silent auction was launched to help raise critical funds for cardiovascular research and education. The auction became a hub of friendly competition and generosity, offering enticing items from fine wines and restaurant gift cards to artwork and exclusive getaways.
The initiative culminated in a lively show of support, raising an impressive $12,030 through the silent auction, wine and cheese tastings, and website donations. Yet, this was just the beginning.
Whitney’s momentum continued to grow. Her efforts, combined with the heartfelt support from RYAM and the broader community, ultimately raised a staggering $28,815—a contribution that far exceeded the average for nominees and helped the campaign soar past its collective goal.
Altogether, the First Coast FL Spring 2025 Woman of Impact campaign raised $151,725, surpassing its $150,000 target thanks to the dedication of Whitney and seven other passionate changemakers.
Though Lindsay White was named this year’s official Woman of Impact, Whitney’s incredible performance made her a standout leader in the campaign. Her work not only raised vital funds but also inspired greater awareness and advocacy for women’s heart health across the region.
To everyone who bid, donated, or simply shared Whitney’s story—thank you. Your support turned a campaign into a movement and the impact of this effort will be felt for years to come.
When a community comes together for a cause this important, the results speak volumes—and the heartbeat of change grows stronger every day.
